PURPOSE:To judge fault accurately, by providing a correction operating section for carrying out corrective operation on an output from a fault detection operating section and providing an output equivalent to the output to be produced when there is no sampling phase difference to a fault judging section. CONSTITUTION:A fault detection operating section 11 assembled in a digital processor 7 carries out predetermined protection system operation onto input data which are A/D converted and outputted from a memory circuit so as to provide information necessary for judgement of fault. Then a correction operating section 12 corrects phase error of fault detection amount in an output from the fault detection operating section 11 caused by time difference of A/D conversion between input data. A fault judging section 13 compares a correction value of fault detection amount fed from the correction operating section 12 with an integer inherent to a protection system so as to judge existence of fault in the protection system thus determining function and non-function of protective relay. |
