PURPOSE:To contrive to make raw material powder fine and to uniform the powder, by blending a solution of a chelate complex containing an alkaline earth metal, a rare earth metal and copper or an organometallic compound in an organic solvent and burning in a misty state. CONSTITUTION:For example, Y(CH3COCH2COCH3)2, Ba(CH3COCH2COCH3)2 and Cu(CH3COCH2COCH3)2 as chelate complexes of Y, Ba and Cu are dissolved in toluene in the blending ratio of Y:Ba:Cu of 1:2:3 by using ultrasonic wave. The solution is used as a raw material solution 1, fed to the tip of a spraying nozzle 2, an O2 gas is sent from a gas supply line 3, the raw material solution 1 is sprayed from the nozzle 2 to produce a mixed gas 4 of combustible mist and oxygen. Then the mixed gas 4 is ignited, burnt, the solvent is instantly removed, further diketone is decomposed and removed so that fine and uniform raw material powder capable of providing a superconductor having high critical current density can be produced. |
