PURPOSE:To accurately delay a fast signal variably, by providing at least two or more grounding means for the reflection of an inputted signal on a transmission line provided with uniform characteristic impedance, and detecting a delayed reflecting wave corresponding to a grounded position on the transmission line. CONSTITUTION:In case of selecting a driving circuit 10c by a decoder 11 based on a delay control signal 107, the polarity of a mono pulse 102a transmitted on the transmission line 8 is inverted at the position of a diode bridge constituted of diodes 9i-9l, and becomes the reflecting wave to be returned to a directional coupler 3 side. When the reflecting wave is observed at a connection point 102 between the directional coupler 3 and the transmission line 8, it appears as a reflecting mono pulse 102b. Therefore, when the grounded position is changed by the diode bridge, a relative time difference is generated in the reflecting mono pulse corresponding to the grounded position. Thus, it is possible to set variably a delay time from an input signal 100 to an output signal 106 with high accuracy by performing the switching of the grounded position by a diode switch provided on the transmission line 8 and the control of a comparison voltage from a comparator 7. |
