<p>PURPOSE:To enable containers on a container rack to be surely transferred or supplied by locking a plurality of article containers mounted on a container rack to mounting positions with a lock means in the movement of a supply means. CONSTITUTION:A stocker 24 adjacent an assembling means mounts pallets P containing a plurality of different articles respectively on a plurality of rack plates 156 provided projectingly on a lift frame 152 so that said pallets P can be transferred/supplied and the lift frame 152 is vertically moved to oppose the respective pallets P to a withdrawal portion according to an assembling sequence. In the movement of the lift frame 152 is operated an air cylinder CR of a lock mechanism 600 to move upward a lock rod 602 along a guide member 604 by a piston 608 so that a lock pin 610b of a lock member 610 fixed to said rod 602 engages an engaging hole 38d in a flange 38 of the pallet P for locking. Thus, containers on a container rack can be surely transferred/ supplied without reducing the efficiency of operation.</p> |
