PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material with high superconducting critical temperature by blending respective powder of Cu2O, Sc2O3, Y2O3, La2O3, Yb2O3, CaO, SrO and BaO in specified molar ratio followed by sintering, grinding, compression molding and then heating under a reducing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:First, (A) 1mol. of Cu2O powder, (B) a total of ca. 1mol. of respective powder of Sc2O3, Y2O3, La2O3 and Yb2O3 and (C) a total of ca. 2mol. of respective powder of CaO, SrO and BaO are blended. Thence, the resulting blended powder is sintered or melted to form a stoichiometric amount of an oxide followed by grinding. The compression molded form of the resultant oxide powder is then heated under a reducing atmosphere to temperatures enough to form a compound of formula [x1+x2+x3+x4=1; X=1+ or -0.2; y1+y2+y3=1; Y=1+ or -0.2; Z=1+ or -0.2; and 2.25<=3W/(X+Y+Z)<=2.75.], thus obtaining the objective superconducting oxide material. |
