PURPOSE:To provide the movable part of an optical switch having high performance and a low cost by constituting the moving element of said movable part of glass bars. CONSTITUTION:The contact points of longitudinally split glass bars 5, 6, 7 and 8 are adhered by means of an adhesive or the like, and guide bars 3 and 4 are fitted along the adhered arc gaps thereof. A prism 1 is mounted to the prescribed position in the plane part of the bar 6 and a movable element 10 constituted of the bars 5-8 along the bars 3 and 4 is slided in a prescribed direction, whereby the optical path is changed over. The movable element having good dimensional accuracy and the fine and highly wear resistant surface is thus produced. The movable part of the optical switch having high performance and a low cost is obtd. by the above-mentioned method. |
