Composition for painting the surface of articles made of polyolefins, characterised in that it consists of a mixture of three separate parts, namely, respectively: - a first part containing, as percentage by weight of the total: from 3 to 7 % of cellulose acetobutyrate, from 6 to 12 % of a resin from condensation of cyclic urea and aliphatic aldehyde, - from 3 to 7 % of chlorinated polyolefins, - a second, so-called pigmenting part containing, as percentage by weight of the total, approximately 1 % of colorant, from 3 to 7 % of magnesium silicate hydrate, from 0.1 to 2 % of silica, - the remainder of titanium dioxide, - a third part of solvents containing, as percentage by weight of the total: 10 % of dichloromethane, 18 % of methyl isobutyl ketone and 38 to 42 % of xylene. Application: painting of polypropylene articles intended for the motor vehicle industry. |
