PURPOSE:To obtain an image with the equal image quality to that of printing matters by approaching the viscosity of a photosensitive layer to that of a planographic printing ink at the time of transferring the image. CONSTITUTION:The title method lies in transferring the image by approaching the viscosity of the photosensitive layer to that of the planographic printing ink, and also at the temp. of 50-150 deg.C. And, an image forming material is usually constituted of a supporting body, a colored photosensitive layer and a protective film. The supporting body has the stability for a heat, chemicals, and a light, etc., and preferably is composed of a material capable of transmitting an active ray, and more preferably, a polyethylene terephthalate film or sheet in the transparency, the thermal stability and the dimensional stability thereof, etc. Accordingly, the mottling of an ink due to over-heating at the time of transferring the image is reduced, thereby enabling the direct transfer of the image to an art paper, etc. which is the acceptor of the ink in the planographic printing. Thus, as the photosensitive layer is transferred in the same manner as that in the planographic printing, a copy very similar to a practical printing matter is obtd. |
