The magnetic storage device includes several thin-film magnetic heads which are arranged next to one another on a non-magnetic substrate which is fed over the recording medium undergoing magnetisation. Each magnetic head has a conductor body carrying the magnetic flux and equipped with at least two magnetic limbs between which is an intermediate space (18). The space (18) accommodates the windings (W1) of a read coil (19), these windings being designed as stripline thin-film types, and are connected with at least one primary winching (W1') of the matching transformer (7) via similarly mfd. stripline connection leads (20) and (21). USE - Magnetic storage device e.g. high-capacity disc stores with substrate accommodating magnetic heads and matching transformer.
