Drive (1) for a lift for vertical or inclined transport of persons and goods, which has a motor (3) with a control and a brake (4) mounted on a foundation base (6), which drives the drive wheel (2) of the lift to move a transport cabin via a reduction gear (5) mounted on the foundation base, wherein the drive wheel is coupled with the output drive shaft (11) of the reduction gear which is swingeable about an axis (23) perpendicular to the axis of the output drive shaft (11) characterised in that, on the housing (14) of the reduction gear (5) is fixed a carrier tube (21) lying centrally to the axis of the output drive shaft (11) of the reduction gear and surrounding this output drive shaft (11), which carries at its free end (22) the drive wheel (2) and is there elastically supported by a support (29) via a cushioning (35), wherein the drive wheel (2) mounted on the free end (22) of the carrier tube (21) or on a bearing support (23) set on this end has a hub body (25) which, with the free end (22) of the bearing support (23), forms a space (20) accommodating the mounting (24) of the drive wheel (2) and which is firmly connected with the free end (28) of the output drive shaft (11) and which has, for this purpose, an annular flange (26) projecting past the end of the carrier tube (21). |
