PURPOSE:To control an injection time not only in relation to the number of rotation but also to a load without utilizing a timer by a method wherein a reduced diameter part of a head of a plunger is eccentrically formed and a clearance of which value is continuously varied in a rotational direction is formed around the reduced diameter part. CONSTITUTION:At the head part of a plunger 11 is eccentrically formed in respect to an axis a reduced diameter part 11a with phi2 smaller than a diameter phi1 of a barrel 11b. Thus, as the plunger 11 is rotated, an effective stroke is varied and at the same time a clearance d passing through the fuel intake port 18 is also varied. When the fuel is forcedly fed, the clearance d is the smallest one in case of the maximum load applied, and the clearance d is the largest one when the load is the minimum one (in case of idling). Therefore, a fuel injection timing is advanced as the number of rotation of the pump is increased, the rate of advancement is varied in response to the position of the clearance d, i.e. the load, an advancing angle is the lowest one during an idling period and the highest one during the maximum loading. |
