A mould core used for producing workpieces from fibre-reinforced plastic, in particular for producing sheet-like construction elements reinforced by stringers in an autoclave consists of a jacket of a flexible, elastic material in which a rigid perforated body is integrated. The latter is preferably designed as a perforated metal plate and is embedded in a jacket of castable moulding rubber. The jacket may additionally be provided with an electroplated nickel layer.
