In a window grille (1) which can be pivoted open on the inner side in the case of an emergency, the wall fastening fittings are configured as rotary bearings for the grille. The fastening fittings (2, 4, 5, 6) for one grille edge are fixedly connected to the masonrywork (3). The fastening fittings (2, 11, 12) for the other grille edge are supported, on the one hand, against the outer side of the masonrywork (3) and, on the other hand, against the inner side of said masonrywork via a shaft (13, 14, 15) passing through the masonrywork.
