A pipe arrangement for the delivery of air from a pressure-charging unit to an internal combustion engine is described, which has at least one feed pipe (1), common to all cylinders of the internal combustion engine and provided with an arbitrarily adjustable throttle valve (3, 4), and a bypass line (8) having a bypass throttle valve (5) branching off upstream of the throttle valve (3, 4), which bypass line diverts excess charge air past the internal combustion engine as a function of the operating state of the internal combustion engine. In order to largely avoid the occurrence of flow losses, it is proposed that in the area of the branching (16) of the bypass line (8) from the feed pipe (1), a shut-off element (9) closing the access to the bypass line (8) be provided, which can be actuated as a function of the operating state of the internal combustion engine. <IMAGE>
