PURPOSE:To facilitate fixing of chip cutter when fixing many chip cutters comprised of chip elements and fixing chip to saw blade, by providing fixed pins to one of fixing chip and saw blade while fitting grooves in the other. CONSTITUTION:When fixing a chip cutter 2 to a saw blade 1, a fixing chip 4 is first secured to a chip element 3, while fixed pins 5, 5' are provided onto said chip 4. Fitting grooves 6, 6' corresponding with said pins 5, 5' are made at the position for fixing the chip cutter 2 on the cutting edge of saw blade 1. Consequently, the fixing pins 5, 5' are fitted in the fitting grooves 6, 6' to fix the chip cutter 2 to the saw blade 1. When advancing the chip saw in V-direction to perform cutting, resisting force P and pressing force Q will function onto the chip element 3. The fitting grooves 6, 6' are made in such direction as the chip cutter 2 will not fall off upon function of said forces P, Q. |
