PURPOSE:To make a processing efficient, by adding attribute of a library at the time of registering a command file called by a catalogued file. CONSTITUTION:When the library attribute is added to the command file specified by the catalogued file 5, a preprocessor 1 does not develop the command file 4. When the library attribute is added to the command file 4 specified by the catalogue file 5, a compiler 2 does not develop the file 4 to machine words, forms an object program corresponding to the command file to which the library attribute is added as a library and forms a pointer table in which a command file is allowed the command file name to correspond to a pointer to the object program. A linkage editor 3 develops the file 5 to machine words by referring the pointer table.
