<p>A solar heat collector device for conversion of solar radiation into useable heat consists of a heat shield e.g. constructed from a sheet metal cabinet with one open side or a trough type construction having an absorber attached to the open side of the trough or sheet metal cabinet. A heat transfer medium flows through the absorber having an inlet pipe into it for the cold heat transfer medium which is in thermal contact with the trough or sheet metal cabinet, and is in the form of a pre-heat exchanger. The sheet metal cabinet has a glass or foil cover.</p> |
