The constant balanced flow of a particular material such as cement or aggregate is distributed from a hopper to a recipient via a conveyor belt. The quantity per minute and weight are controlled. A material (3) enters a hopper (1) from where it is distributed via an adjustable outlet. The outlet flow to conveyor (9) is controlled by a distributor (9) driven (13) at constant speed. An exhaust (4) allows air to escape from distributor to atmosphere. Blades (18) compress material to a level on the conveyor and a radial wave (27) controls output to provide constant balanced flow.
