PURPOSE: To obtain uniform flow quantity by providing the device with an excess tabacco removing means and a tobacco flow quantity detecting means near a conveyer for continuous conveyance of tobacco and vertically moving the tobacco removing means base on a signal form the tobacco flow quantity detecting means. CONSTITUTION: When conveying fibers 9 of tobacco or other smokable materials as a continuous body through a continuous body conveyer 6 while holding it with sucking air, a removing means S for taking away excess materials is disposed near that conveyer 6, a tabacco flow quantity measuring means 26 is disposed on the upstream side and based on a measuring signal from this means 26, and the position of the removing means S is adjusted.
