The hairbrush has stiff movable pins (2), pref. made of wood. Each has a head (5) is mounted with play in an extension (6) in the brush body. The pins are also mounted with play and pivotably relative to the holes (7) through which they extend. The brush body pref. consists of two or more layers one of which covers the extensions contg. the pin heads. The heads are spherical at the point of transition to the pin shafts. In the case of a round hairbrush, the extensions for the pin heads may be mounted in an outer shell body in which is inserted a cylindrical closure member.
