<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the construction by providing movable carriages having a positioning pin on right and left sides of a transport path in such a manner as to freely advance and retreat, which are engaged and disengaged to and from a pallet which is positioned on a carrying truck and transported in the above device in a part assembling process of an automotive body. CONSTITUTION:A pallet Pa is positioned by engaging a reference pin of a traveling truck Tr with a reference pin hole (not shown), and the pallet is loaded with a work Bo to be transferred to a work station St. Whereupon, elevating cylinders 69 of work positioning devices Lp, Lp are elongated to lift up elevating members 70. Thus, a positioning pin 73 is fitted in a positioning hole (not sown), which is formed on the pallet Pa. Accordingly, the pallet Pa is positioned at a designated position and the work Bo is set at a work position. By this simple arrangement, the pallet can be correctly positioned.</p> |
