The machine cleans the textile slats of venetian blinds and similar equipment, having a watertight vessel (1) contg. one or more pairs of driven brush rollers (14,15), a sprayer system for liquid and a conveyor for the slats (A). At the inlet and outlet side of the gap between the rollers in each pair guides (23-26) are mounted for the slats, while the sprays are aimed at the top brush rollers. The bottom roller (15) in each pair is immersed in a liquid bath (B) in the vessel. The conveyor comprises pairs of belts (12,13;16,17) working together and forming a curve-free passage in conjunction with the guides.
