PURPOSE:To produce heat resistant ceramic suppressing the reduction of the specific surface area due to sintering, by calcining an alumina carrier contg. impregnated salts of La, Nd and Ba to convert the salts into corresponding oxides. CONSTITUTION:An alumina carrier is added to an aq. soln. contg. an La salt such as La(NO3)2, an Nd salt such as Nd(NO3)2 and a Ba salt such as Ba(NO3)2. After the metallic salts are impregnated into the carrier, the carrier is dried and calcined to convert the metallic salts into corresponding oxides. Thus, heat resistant ceramics contg. La2O3, Nd2O3 and BaO in 0.05-0.20 atomic ratio of La, Nd and Ba to La, Nd, Ba and alumina is obtd. |
