PURPOSE:To increase the width of a constant output range by inserting a minor loop for controlling the output into a main loop for controlling the speed of a motor and setting the output limiting value to either smaller one of the product of the maximum allowable current in the low speed range of the output limiting value and the external set value. CONSTITUTION:An output limiter 17 produces as a limiting value ePL either smaller one of the production of an armature voltage ea and the maximum armature current value IM in the low speed range of a DC motor and a motor output limiting value POR. An output instructing unit 2A outputs as a signal eP a speed deviation (eF-eNF) limited at the saturating point by the value ePL. An output amplifier 3A controls a thyristor converter 5 by the deviation between the product of the armature voltage ea and the the armature current eiF and the signal eP. A field current controller 7 produces a field current instructing value eF responsive to the armature voltage ea. |
