The invention refers to a device on buckets (1) for the handling of wet masses (19) such as peat. The bucket is equipped with a revolving lid (3) and its bottom is equipped with a screw for feeding out mass (10). When the mass is introduced into the bucket, the lid swings (3) so that the mass (19) is pressed against the feeding out screw (10) during dewatering.
