<p>PURPOSE:To enable the high speed erasure by providing a turning lever with a preventing means for preventing a pinch roller situated in a 1st position in a sub-chassis at the time of rewinding operation from abutting against a tape. CONSTITUTION:A 1st intermediate gear 15 is firmly meshed with a gear 17a of a supply reel base 17, while the sub-chassis 2 is moved by a solenoid 5 in the reverse direction of A to be set in the 1st position. At that time, a protrusion 14a of the turning lever 14 is engaged with an engaging part 9a of a pinch roller lever 9, so that the pinch roller lever 9 is prevented from moving in the reverse direction of A. Consequently, the pinch roller lever 9 is turned around an oscillating shaft 10 as a fulcrum in the reverse direction of B in accordance with the movement of the sub-chassis 2 in the reverse direction of A, so that the pinch roller 12 is not brought into contact with the tape 6. Consequently, the tape 6 under its rewinding mode is taken up at high speed by a torque of the supply reel base 17 only. Under such circumstances, the high speed erasure can be performed under the rewinding mode by supplying an erasing electric current to an erasing head.</p> |
