<p>PURPOSE:To correctly reflect a sentence structure to a voice interval by recognizing the position of a break and the size of the break in a sentence with vocabulary information. CONSTITUTION:A silence time control system is constituted of an input sentence reading means 1 such as a keyboard, a morpheme analyzing means 2 to divide simply an input sentence, a dictionary 3, a word interval giving means 4 to recognize the size for the position of the break in the word divided input sentence, a dictionary housing vocabulary information 5 for giving a word interval, a character/voice-converting means 6 and a voice output means 7 such as a speaker. Since it is determined the break of the sentence of which extent intensity is obtained when the word is used in the sentence at every word, in the natural language, the place and size of the break of the sentence immediately after the morpheme analysis to the input sentence can be detected by using the vocabulary information. As the result, to the break in the sentence, a suitable silence time can be given.</p> |
