PURPOSE:To manufacture the titled material capable of raising up to 230-300K Tc onset by calcining a mixture of groups IIIa and IIa elements in the periodic table and copper, and, after mixing In, Sn or Sb with the calcined product, further calcining this mixed body at the respectively specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:The manufacture of the oxide superconducting material consisting of compounds containing >=1 element of the groups IIIa and IIa in the periodic table and copper, and having superconducting characteristics, is performed as mentioned below. That is, the starting materials are firstly mixed, compressed to form an integral compact and then applied the first calcination under an oxidizing atmosphere at 500-1,100 deg.C. This calcined body is pulverized and mixed with In, Sn, Sb or the respective compds., and further formed to be a solid material, then applied the second calcination at 500-1,100 deg.C. The oxide superconducting material obtained thus is generally shown by the formula. In the formula, x=0.1-1.0, y=2.0-4.0, z=1.0-4.0, w=4.0-10.0, v=0.01-3.0, A denotes the group IIIa element in the periodic table, B denotes the group IIa element in the periodic table, and X denotes >=1 element of In, Sn and Sb. |
