PURPOSE:To prevent a copying machine from malfunctioning owing to the generation of a noise due to abnormal discharge, etc., by grounding one side of a power source for a high voltage generating device in or nearby by power unit for copying. CONSTITUTION:One side of the high voltage power supply output VPP of the high voltage power source part 6 is grounded to the housing of the copying machine in or nearby the power unit 2 for the copying machine and further one side of a power source path is also grounded to the housing even in the high voltage power source part 6. The housing of the copying machine is installed on the ground, low in impedance than an electric conductor, and easily separated from other electric conductors (VCC and VAA signal lines, etc.), and a noise due to the falling of a thunderbolt, a leak, etc., is prevented from entering other paths from the VPP path. |
