<p>PURPOSE:To improve reliability on fail safe function, by a method wherein a diode is connected between grounds of a control system electric circuit and a power system electric circuit, and when the potential different in the forward direction of the diode exceeds a given value, given processing is executed. CONSTITUTION:A ground PG of a power system electric circuit P needing a high power is separated from a ground SG of a control system electric circuit S, and the separation prevents the influence of noise from the power system electric circuit P from being exercised on the control system electric circuit S. In this electric device for a vehicle, a diode D wherein an anode is connected to the ground SG of the control system electric circuit S and a cathode to the ground PG of the power system electric circuit P is provided. The potential difference in the forward direction of the diode D is detected by a potential difference detecting means C1, and when the detected potential difference is increased to a value exceeding a given value, given processing is executed by means of a given processing executing means C2.</p> |
