PURPOSE:To make it possible to build a compressed air storage chamber on the bottom part of a dam or the like at a low cost, by communicating the compressed air storage chamber with the dam or the like and a water discharge pipe, and by communicating a power plant chamber with a suction and exhaust pipe. CONSTITUTION:After reserved water in a dam 1 is discharged, the bottom of the dam is leveled and excavated, and a concrete compressed air storage chamber 2 is built thereon. The bottom part of the storage chamber 2 is communicated with the bottom part of the dam 1 through a filling and draining pipe 3, and a strainer 4 is arranged on the dam side. Meanwhile, the upper part of the storage chamber 2 is communicated with a power plant chamber through a suction and exhaust pipe, and a gate valve 6 and a motor driven valve 7 are disposed in the suction and exhaust pipe 5. |
