PURPOSE:To shorten a switching time by providing a couple of substrates which are arranged opposite each other and support both connector ferrules on their facing parts in a connection state and a projection pin which presses and moves a positioning pin axially. CONSTITUTION:This connection switching device fits the 1st and 2nd connector ferrules 3A and 3B in the connection state in connector ferrule fitting recessed parts 32 of the substrates of split structure to control right-left and forward- backward movement by the raised walls and abutting surfaces 31 of the recessed parts 32, and also perform thickness-directional positioning by the positioning surfaces 33 of ferrule supports. In this case, a 3rd connector ferrule 3C is fitted in the connector ferrule fitting recessed part 32 of the other substrate and the tip end surfaces of the 1st and 3rd ferrules are set in the opposition directions of the substrates by the abutting surfaces of both substrates, thereby shortening the switching time. |
