PURPOSE:To obtain the titled feed having high protein content at a low cost, by inoculating and proliferating chlorella in a brewing and distillation residue containing large amount of water, sedimenting solid component, kneading the obtained slurry under drying and granulating the product. CONSTITUTION:Brewing and distillation residue containing large amount of water is charged into a hopper 1 and solid components are sedimented while proliferating chlorella in the residue. The sedimented solid component is taken out from the bottom of the hopper 1 in the form of slurry, transferred to a metering tank 3 with a pump 2 and transferred to a kiln 5 with a metering pump 4. The slurry is kneaded under drying in the kiln 5 with hot air generated in a hot-air generation furnace to obtain a plastic material. The plastic material is granulated with a granulator 8 and dried in a drying furnace 10 to a water- content of 10-20%. The hitherto discarded brewing and distillation residue can be effectively utilized by this process and a feed suitable for livestock raising and pisciculture can be prepared. |
