PURPOSE:To prevent gap from generating between a fluorinated resin lining pipe and the inner peripheral surface of a steel pipe by a method wherein two or more steel split pipes are joined together with one another after these split pipes are fitted along the outer peripheral surface of a fluorinated resin lining pipe. CONSTITUTION:Flanged short pipes 1a, 1b and 1c of a trisected T-shaped pipe are respectively fitted along the outer periphery of a PTFE lining pipe A. At this time, the flanged short pipe are inserted so far until the end faces 1a', 1b' and 1c' of the respective flanged short pipes abut against one another. In this case, when the outer diametral dimension of the PTFE liner A is set to be nearly equal to or slightly larger than the inner diametral dimension of the respective flanged short pipes 1a, 1b and 1c, the PTFE lining pipe is brought into the state being forced in the respective flanged short pipes, so in no gas is produced between the inner peripheral surface of each short pipe and the outer peripheral surface of the PTFE lining pipe. Next, the abutting parts 11 of the end faces 1a', 1b' and 1c' of the respective flanged short pipes are joined to one another by welding in order to form an integrated T-shaped pipe 1. |
