PURPOSE: To provide a pachinko ball which can abate noise, which can prevent a steel ball from wearing, which can reduce a burden of a ball polishing work, which can enhance the sanitation, which can be colored, and which is highly repellant, by sinter-molding a mixture composed of a metal component and a ceramic component which are mixed at a specific ratio, into a ball having a hollow center part, and by coating the outer surface of the ball with ceramic. CONSTITUTION: 50 to 99wt.% of a metal component and 1 to 50wt.% of ceramic are mixed and sinter-molded 1 into a steel ball 1 made of the mixture of the metal and the ceramic and having a hollow part 5 in its center part, and the outer surface of the ball is coated with ceramic so as to finally obtain a pachinko ball having a diameter of 11mm, a weight of 5.5G, a surface roughness of 1 to 50μm. The pachinko ball has a strength which is extremely higher than that of coventional one, and improves the thermal expansion coefficient, the hardness and the wear-resistance due to the composite of ceramic and metal. Further, it is possible color the pachinko ball and to enhance the repellent.
