PURPOSE:To obtain a highly accurate profile irregularity and a surface roughness by coating the surface of a base body part which is machined into a nearly desirable shape with a metal film of nickel-phosphorus alloy by means of electroless plating and, then, cutting and finishing its surface using a diamond tool. CONSTITUTION:A metal such as stainless steel, beryllium copper, etc. is roughly machined to obtain a nearly desired shape forming a base body part 31. Then, by giving a pretreatment such as to remove oil, etc. deposited on this base body part 31 and further to remove an oxide film formed on its surface and the like, nickel striking is given to the surface of the base body part 31 to perform substrate plating. And, the surface of the base body 31 is coated with a metal film 32 of nickel-phosphorus alloy by means of electroless plating and, after that, the surface of the metal film 32 is cut and finished by the use of a diamond tool. Thus, as the metal film 32 which has no pin hole and which is excellent in closely attaching property can be formed by means of the electroless plating, a profile irregularity of highly accurate flat and curved faces and a surface roughness can be obtained. |
