The method relates to the supplying of abrasive-loaded liquid to wires used for dressing marble and granite stones, in the case of helical wires, and guarantees feeding with water, under all circumstances, for cooling diamond-impregnated wires, in certain cases of dressing. It is composed of a tank on the side where the wire enters the block, with a sliding piece making it possible to close the gap left by the passage of the wire, and, on the side where the wire emerges, of a device with a sliding piece making it possible to retain the essential liquid inside the block. <IMAGE>
