PURPOSE:To obtain a superconducting magnet which is of good workability and can generate a space of strong magnetic field or a large space of homogeneous magnetic field, by making the superconducting magnet a structure in which superconductive composite oxides formed in ring are respectively disposed in concentric circle, and at least a part of non-magnetic metal or alloy is covered. CONSTITUTION:Superconductive composite oxides are formed in ring, and these rings are disposed in concentric circle with each of the diameters thereof being changed according to the size of a required superconducting magnet. When strong magnetic field is required, a predetermined number of the concentric circle-like rings are superposed each other, while in large space of homogeneous magnetic field being required, the concentric circle-like rings are superposed alternatively. In such manner, the intensity of magnetic field is controlled. In order to support the stress which is produced in the magnetic field being generated, a part of non-magnetic metal or alloy thereof is covered. The excitation of the magnet can be performed using the way in which after the magnet is made to be into superconductive state, the magnet is taken out of the magnetic field or the magnetic field being broke. As a result, the magnet can generate a larger magnetic field. |
