摘要	The invention relates to a filter for eliminating microparticles and microbial constituents of air and the process for the production of the filter. The filter is joined to a fixing element and has permeable pores directed in the flow direction having a pore volume of 25-40% by volume and a pore size of 0.2-30 mu m. The process for the production of the filter is based on a ceramic material, the filter being pressed individually or repeatedly with special moulding tools with addition of finely particulate opening material, being sintered once or repeatedly in the temperature range of 1200-1420@C and then being made hydrophobic.
