Clay pigeon target - has flexible feet thrust inwards by cam action to separate annular and target sections

The clay pigeon target comprises an annular cylindrical section, from which two or more blades extend radially outwards, and a target section whose outer periphery is in line with the annular section. Two or more feet at different angles extend in the axial direction and can bend in the radial direction. Each foot has a claw extending radially and with an oblique surface towards the other section forming an acute angle with the centre line. Each oblique surface bears against the other section when they are moved apart, to thrust the respective foot inwards by cam action and detach the sections radially from each other.
