The invention relates to a roller blind for trapezoidal or triangular building openings, having a winding shaft (5) arranged parallel to the upper opening border, and having a shutter which can be wound up onto said shaft and whose lamellae (8a, 8b), likewise arranged parallel to the upper opening border, are configured in the lower shutter region, as short lamellae which can be received by merely one end in a vertical, lateral guide rail (1) and, on the other side, terminate in the region of the lower edge (9) of the shutter, the short lamellae (8b) being secured against running out of the associated guide rail (1) or running away from that end side of the shutter winding (13) which is located in the region of the longer side edge of the building opening. A very simple construction method is obtained in the case of said roller blind in that the short lamellae (8b), in the wound-up state, rest, by their lower ends, on respectively associated stops (36) which are fastened on the radially outwardly directed side of those lamellae which are in each case radially inwardly adjacent to the stops in the wound-up state and of which at least one is configured as a non-shortened lamella (8a) extending over the entire width. <IMAGE>
