<p>In known top transport devices, a transmission rod for raising the top transport foot is mounted directly on the support element of the support system. This results in a uniform upward movement of the top transport foot. In the new arrangement, the execution of this movement is improved. To reduce the components of motion of the top transport foot in its contact phase, the guide rod drive consists of a pair of guide rods (16, 28) interconnected by a hinge (17) rotatably connected to a rocker (18) mounted on the support element (20) of the support system. The rocker (18) is mounted in such a way that in the contact region of the top transport foot (6) the rocker (18) runs essentially parallel to the guide rod (28) located between the rocker (18) and the top transport foot (6).</p> |
