<p>Methods of vaccinating to induce protective immunity to rabies and rabies-related viruses are taught wherein certain synthetic, genetically engineered, or rabies-derived polypeptides are used. The sequence of the polypeptides is derived from the N protein. Both B and T cells are stimulated by these antigenic polypeptides to provide immunity to rabies and other related infections.</p> |
