PURPOSE: To remove the deviation of positions between a character and a graphic with a simple constitution by expanding the graphic according to the ratio between standard character sizes source and destination of conversion. CONSTITUTION: The displaying position of a character set or a graphic set is extracted from screen information by means of a coordinates extracting means 2, 3, extracted pieces of positional information are compared by an overlap deciding means 4 and the overlap between the character set and the graphic set is decided. The character set and a graphic set without overlapped on a character requires no processing and is made screen information in the other party of conversion. The graphic information being decided that it overlaps on a character is converted to longitudinally and laterally expanded or reduced graphic information by means of an expanding/reducing means 10 according to the ratio between standard character sizes source and destination of conversion stored in a conversion ratio storage means 9. Consequently, since the display size of a graphic changed in according with the ratio display size of a character source and destination of conversion, conversion is performed without disturbing the positional relation between a character and a graphic. |
