PURPOSE:To prevent an engine stop by a simple construction by operating an engine governor so as to raise the speed of an engine when the difference in speed between an engine and a gear pump is above a set point and to fall the speed when it is below the set point. CONSTITUTION:An engine E is controlled in a state of the low speed revolutions by the full admission of an engine governor G. Then, in case a working load is increased by increasing a hydraulic actuator used simultaneously, the speed of gear pumps P1-P2 is lowered by a torque convertor 20, and the difference in speed between the engine E and the pump is getting bigger. And, when the speed of the engine E is raised to the maximum in a state that the difference in speed is above the set point, the speed of the pump is increased. And, a load to the actuator is removed, the speed of the pump is raised by the convertor 20, and the difference in speed between the engine E and the pump is below the set point. Then, the speed of the engine E is lowered to the earlier control value by a control device 18, and the speed of the pump also is lowered. |
