<p>To recover recombinant M-13-ss DNA from recombinant M-13 phages expelled into a medium by an E. coli host strain, the M-13 phages are precipitated from the culture medium with acetic acid, the suspension so obtained is filtered through a glass fibre filter, and the glass fibre filter is treated with a solution of chaotropic ions.</p> |
