The anchoring member consists of a plastic cap with a metal insert recessed therein, which produces an annular beaded chamber. During the connection operation, the beaded chamber serves to deform the ends of holding elements of a fastening part which forms a constructional unit with the functional haberdashery member. A satisfactory, smooth deformation of the ends of the holding element is to be guaranteed whilst still achieving a firm connection of the functional haberdashery member fitted with the fastening member. Arranged in the annular cavity of the beaded chamber is a ring, in particular a plastic ring, which promotes the deformation operation of the ends of the holding element and ensures a firm anchorage thereof.
