A device for determining an angle of rotation consists of a physical measured value transmitter and at least one Hall sensor (probe). A device for determining the angle of rotation was to be produced which measures without making contact and operates in an analogue manner and which ensures a high degree of measuring accuracy despite being of simple design and having a rugged construction. For this purpose, at least two linear Hall sensors are provided which are arranged opposite and in a fixed manner, with a measured value transmitter plunging in therebetween which is mounted so as to be rotatable with respect to the Hall sensors, the perpendicular distances of the Hall sensors from the measured value transmitter changing in the opposite direction when the measured value transmitter rotates.
