Device for measuring the warp-thread tension in a weaving machine, the warp-thread set which comes from the warp beam being deflected to a warp-thread regulator via a resiliently mounted back-rest, and in the region of the back-rest there being provided a measuring arrangement, in order to determine the tension of the warp threads, characterised in that a pressure-recording measuring body in a floating mounting is provided after the back-rest so as to penetrate the warp-thread set, some of the warp threads running above and others below the measuring body, and the warp threads looping at least partially around the measuring body.
