METHODS FOR BREAST CANCER DETECTION

Methods are provided for detecting XMMBR-B55 antigen in serum. The presence of XMMBR-B55 in serum has been associated with breast and ovarian carcinoma. Conventional immunological detection techniques may be employed. XMMBR-B55 antibody is produced by XMBBR-B55 hybridoma cell line which is deposited at the American Type Culture Collection under assession number HB 9485.
